Ohio Families for Safe Birth aims to put a 2009 desk calendar, featuring home-born Ohio babies, on the desk of every State senator and House representative this month. As many calendars as possible will be sent directly from a constituent with a personal note asking the legislator to support licensure for Certified Professional Midwives. To “sponsor” a calendar for a legislator costs only $6 (postage included). Calendars are also available to purchase for yourself or to give as gifts.
